NOTICE is hereby given that Y-Care (South East Queensland) Inc and the YMCA of Brisbane, PO Box 669, Spring Hill Qld 4004, has lodged an application with the Non State Schools Accreditation Board for government funding of Years 8 to 12 of secondary education at the YMCA Vocational School, 41-45 Mary Street, Kingston, Qld, 4114 founded on the philosophy and traditions of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA).

The enrolment catchment area relevant to the application is a geographical area and suburbs of the Logan City Council boundaries. Anyone may inspect the application and accompanying documents at the registered office of the applicant Y-Care (South East Queensland) Inc, at 107 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, Qld 4006 or at the Office of Non-State Education, Floor 18, Education House, 30 Mary Street, Brisbane.

Copies of the application may be obtained from the applicant at the above location. Copies of any accompanying documents will not be provided. Anyone may make a submission about the application to the Non-State Schools Accreditation Board, PO Box 15347, City East Q 4002. A properly made submission is one that is written, is signed by, or for, each person making the submission, states the name and address of each signatory, and is lodged within 35 days from the date of this notice. Submissions may address only the criteria for eligibility for government funding stated in sections 85 and 86 of the Education (Accreditation of Non-State Schools) Act 2001.
