Setting up a new school
The incorporated governing body of a proposed new school is required to submit an application for accreditation to the Board.
Each application is assessed according to a number of criteria, such as the proposed school's:
- educational program and student welfare processes
- resources
- financial viability
- improvement processes
Government funding is available for eligible applicants. Applications for funding eligibility must also be made to the Board.
